The Cupio Spectrum

The Cupio spectrum (also known as Affectional Latency) is for orientations that hold Action without Attraction, or “Aspec through an Allo Lense”.

The opposite of Cupio would be the Orchid spectrum, or "Allo through an Aspec Lense".

Cuoio- is when an individual doesn't feel attraction, but does desire a relationship in real life (in simple terms). It can either be Allo, Aspec, or a whole category of its own, depending on the user^.

Some examples;

⦿ Relationship-positive aspec individuals who want a relationship.
⦿ People who are monosexual but are able to have relationships with other genders.
⦿ Hyper(sexual or romantic) people who, while not having attraction, feel the need to be in relationships.
⦿ People who don't feel a specific attraction but want to do an action for other reasons (like artistic expression).

^ Disclaimer : The Cupio Spectrum is its own spectrum, that can overlap with Allo or Aspec, but doesn’t have to. You can use any spectrum you’d like- Cupio AND Aspec, Cupio AND Allospec, just Cupio , id with different spectrums at different times, or all three together.

Cupiosexual

Cupiosexual is defined as someone who does not experience sexual attraction but still desires/likes a sexual relationship. Cupiosexuals are commonly sex-favorable but they do not have to be. Cupiosexual can be described as "the opposite of orchidsexual".

Cupioromantic

Cupioromantic is defined as someone who does not experience romantic attraction but still desires a romantic relationship. Cupioromantic individuals are typically romance favorable but they do not have to be. Cupioromantic can be described as "the opposite of orchidromantic".

Cupiospec (or Affectional Latency)

The Cupio spectrum holds all "Aspec through an Allo lense", and as such can hold any type of attraction; Platonic, Queerplatonic, Alterous, etc.

Micro Terms

Cupiogex : Someone who is gay and is exclusively attracted to the same/similar gender(s). However, they are willing to participate in activities with other/dissimilar genders, despite feeling no attraction.

Cupiohex : Someone who is straight and is exclusively attracted to other/dissimilar gender(s). However, they are willing to participate in activities with same/similar genders, despite feeling no attraction.

Mint Straight : Cupiohex guys who are mlw but msm or mdm. Straight guys who are okay with having relationships with men.

Strawberry Straight : Cupiohex gals who are wlm but wsw or wdw. Straight gals who are okay with having relationships with women.

Matcha Veldian : Cupiogex guys who are mlm but msw or mdw. Gay guys who are okay with having relationships with women.

Coffee Lesbian : Cupiogex gals who are wlw but wsm or wdm. Gay gals who are okay with having relationships with men.
